Before we even pick up the scissors, we take the time to understand exactly what you’re looking for. Whether you’re after a complete transformation or a subtle refresh, your stylist will offer expert advice to ensure your new look is not only beautiful but also works in harmony with your face shape, hair type, and daily routine.

Relax and unwind with a luxury wash and scalp massage 

Once we’ve settled on your perfect style, you’ll be treated to a luxurious shampoo service using handpicked Davines products. Sink into relaxation with a soothing scalp massage, designed to leave both your hair and mind feeling refreshed. After all, a haircut should be a treat and an experience, not just another thing on your ‘to do’ list. 

We even have a hot and cold drinks menu for you to choose from – perhaps a velvety hot chocolate with marshmallows or a crisp, chilled San Pellegrino. Delicious!

Curly hair requires a unique approach, and at Pelo, you’re in the very best (and talented!) hands with Robyn, our curly hair expert. Robyn has trained extensively in curl-specific cutting and colouring techniques, ensuring your natural curls are enhanced, shaped, and celebrated. 

Why we don’t offer wet hair cuts 

At Pelo, precision and making sure your hair looks its absolute best is so important to us. That’s why we’ve said goodbye to wet cuts and only offer cut and blow-dry appointments.  

This is because hair behaves differently when it’s wet, so by cutting it dry, we can see exactly how it falls, moves, and shapes naturally, giving you a flawless finish that works in real life, not just in the salon chair.  

Once we have cut and dried your hair, we fine-tune the details, whether that’s adding texture, removing bulk, or perfecting the length, because the little things make all the difference.

Do you offer evening appointments?

Yes, we do. We are open until 6pm on Wednesdays and Fridays, and until 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Am I required to have a patch test for a colour service?

Yes, all new clients must have a patch test at least 48 hours before their colour appointment. We cannot proceed with any colour services without an in-date patch test applied by one of our team.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is plenty of FREE parking in our car park. Just make sure to give your car registration to a member of staff so you can park for longer than an hour.

What products do you retail?
We retail Davines products to help you maintain your hair between appointments and prolong the results of your salon service. Our team is highly knowledgeable about these products and can provide tailored advice.
How do I book an appointment?

What bond builders do you offer?
We offer K18 and Olaplex as in-salon treatments.
Do I need an appointment?

While appointments are not always necessary, we highly recommend booking to avoid disappointment.

Do you have a curly hair specialist?
Yes, Bethany is our curly hair specialist. We are also planning to further educate all of our stylists in advanced curly hair cutting techniques.
Do you offer gents and children’s cuts?
Yes, we offer both. Please note that children’s cuts start from age 8.
Do I need to arrive with clean hair for my colour appointment?
Yes, please arrive with freshly washed hair. Clean hair helps the colour penetrate the hair shaft more effectively.
What is your pricing?
Pricing varies depending on the service and the stylist’s experience. Feel free to contact us for more details.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a 50% deposit for all new clients and for clients who haven’t visited us in over 6 months.
Do you offer complimentary consultations?

Yes, we require a complimentary 15 minute consultation for all new colour service clients. This allows us to assess your hair, discuss your desired result, and offer any necessary advice.

Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, we require 48 hours’ notice to make any changes to your appointment without incurring a charge or losing your deposit. Changes made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a 50% fee, and under 24 hours or no-shows will incur a 100% fee. If you need to make changes, please call or WhatsApp the salon—please do not email or send messages via social media.
