What are teasylights? 

If you love the natural blend of balayage but want a little extra lift, teasylights might be your perfect match. This technique combines the soft, hand-painted look of balayage with a touch of foil for added brightness. We lightly tease sections of hair before applying the lightener, which helps create an ultra-blended, diffused effect.  

Who are teasylights ideal for? 

Teasylights are perfect for: 

  • Blondes looking for a brighter, more lifted effect 
  • Brunettes wanting soft, natural dimension 
  • Anyone who loves a high-end, ‘expensive blonde’ finish

Traditional highlights 

If you’re looking for more dimension than balayage and teasylights offer, then traditional highlights are a great choice. We use foils to apply lightener to specific sections of your hair, giving you a nice, even brightness. This is perfect if you want a more uniform colour with a bit of contrast, whether you’re after bold highlights or a softer, blended look.  

It works well for pretty much anyone, but especially brunettes and darker blondes who want a bit more lift and brightness. Just keep in mind that highlights do come with a bit more upkeep than balayage or teasylights.

Do you offer evening appointments?

Yes, we do. We are open until 6pm on Wednesdays and Fridays, and until 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Am I required to have a patch test for a colour service?

Yes, all new clients must have a patch test at least 48 hours before their colour appointment. We cannot proceed with any colour services without an in-date patch test applied by one of our team.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is plenty of FREE parking in our car park. Just make sure to give your car registration to a member of staff so you can park for longer than an hour.

What products do you retail?
We retail Davines products to help you maintain your hair between appointments and prolong the results of your salon service. Our team is highly knowledgeable about these products and can provide tailored advice.
How do I book an appointment?

What bond builders do you offer?
We offer K18 and Olaplex as in-salon treatments.
Do I need an appointment?

While appointments are not always necessary, we highly recommend booking to avoid disappointment.

Do you have a curly hair specialist?
Yes, Bethany is our curly hair specialist. We are also planning to further educate all of our stylists in advanced curly hair cutting techniques.
Do you offer gents and children’s cuts?
Yes, we offer both. Please note that children’s cuts start from age 8.
Do I need to arrive with clean hair for my colour appointment?
Yes, please arrive with freshly washed hair. Clean hair helps the colour penetrate the hair shaft more effectively.
What is your pricing?
Pricing varies depending on the service and the stylist’s experience. Feel free to contact us for more details.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a 50% deposit for all new clients and for clients who haven’t visited us in over 6 months.
Do you offer complimentary consultations?

Yes, we require a complimentary 15 minute consultation for all new colour service clients. This allows us to assess your hair, discuss your desired result, and offer any necessary advice.

Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, we require 48 hours’ notice to make any changes to your appointment without incurring a charge or losing your deposit. Changes made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a 50% fee, and under 24 hours or no-shows will incur a 100% fee. If you need to make changes, please call or WhatsApp the salon—please do not email or send messages via social media.
