Welcome to Pelo, a luxury hair salon in Warwick Gates – between Leamington Spa & Warwick. We are known for our friendly, approachable atmosphere and exceptional attention to detail. Founded in 2004 by Claire, a highly experienced hairdresser with over 30 years of expertise, Pelo has been dedicated to creating beautiful hair and providing an unforgettable salon experience for nearly two decades.
Our team is led by Claire and her daughter, Robyn, who has grown up in the salon and now serves as our Artistic Director and Salon Manager. With a first-class honours degree in digital marketing and a passion for creative hairdressing, Robyn specialises in scalp bleaching, balayage, and short hair cutting. Together, Claire and Robyn have created a salon environment where clients feel welcomed and at home, knowing they are in the hands of a talented and caring team.
At Pelo, we offer a wide range of services, from precision cuts to colour transformations, including our ethically sourced Rapture tape-in extensions. Our staff is committed to continuous education and staying on top of the latest trends and techniques, ensuring

Meet The Team
Claire
salon owner AND founder
Claire opened Pelo on 4th October 2004. With 30 years of hairdressing experience, she’s now in the salon only two days a week, focusing more on managing the business rather than working in it. Claire no longer takes on new clients but continues to guide the team with her vast expertise.
Robyn
Artistic Director & Salon Manager
Robyn, Claire’s daughter, has grown up at Pelo. After completing her apprenticeship and training under Claire, she gained a first-class honours degree in digital marketing before returning as a stylist. With 6 years of salon floor experience, Robyn is known for her exceptional skill in scalp bleaching, balayage, curly hair, and short hair cutting. Hairdressing runs in her blood!
Georgie
Artistic Director & Salon Floor Manager
Joining after her A-levels in 2019, Georgie trained under Claire and Robyn, becoming an expert in balayage and foiling and is a curl hair specialist. She is known for her flawless finishes and signature big blow dries, making her a client favourite.
Mia
Graduate Stylist
Mia has been with us since 2020, initially joining as a part time assistant. After completing college in Leamington Spa, she then furthered her education at Pelo. Mia has recently become our Graduate Stylist and soon to be tape in extension specialist.
Joanna
Front of house
Joanna is our front of house. The first person you’ll see when you arrive and the voice behind the phone or what’s app messages. Friendly, helpful, and always ready to make your visit an enjoyable one.
Caisey
Apprentice
Caisey is our apprentice at Pelo. Caisey is embarking on her hairdressing journey with us at Pelo, she’s already becoming a familiar face. She’s the one making your experience at the basin nothing short of blissful.
Caisey is under the guidance of Robyn with her expert training.
JESS
Self-Employed Stylist
Jess has been with Pelo since 2010, starting as an apprentice. She is the OG of the team, having worked alongside Claire for over a decade, bringing expertise and continuity to our salon.
Vicky
Self-Employed Stylist
Vicky has been a long-standing stylist at Pelo, joining Claire in 2013. Her experience and dedication have made her a valuable member of the team.
Laura
Self-Employed Stylist
Laura joined the team in 2015 after returning from her travels in Australia. She’s been a consistent presence in the salon ever since, providing excellent service and care to her clients.
