That’s why every hair extension service begins with an in-depth consultation. During this time, we assess the condition of your hair and always perform a colour match to ensure a seamless blend on the day your extensions are applied. If a perfect match isn’t available, we offer custom colouring of the extensions to create a flawless, natural look.

Our priority is the health of your hair, and our experienced team is not afraid to say no if we feel that extensions may compromise its integrity. We use only the highest quality hair extensions, which can last 9-12 months. Thanks to their durability, you can reuse the hair several times over this period, ensuring a long-lasting and luxurious result.

What types of hair extensions do you offer?

At Pelo, we specialise in Rapture tape-in extensions. Rapture hair is ethically sourced, with traceable origins. The hair is donated willingly, and the proceeds from sales are reinvested directly into local communities.

How long do Rapture tape-in extensions last?

With proper care, Rapture tape-in extensions can last between 9 to 12 months. Regular maintenance appointments every 6 to 8 weeks, along with the correct aftercare, are essential to keep them looking their best.

What are tape-in extensions?
Rapture tape-in extensions are small, pre-taped wefts of hair. These are applied by sandwiching a small section of your natural hair between two wefts, creating a seamless and natural look.
What lengths are available?
We offer extensions in 25cm, 40cm, and 50cm, with 27 stunning shades to choose from.
What can Rapture hair extensions do for my hair?
Rapture hair extensions can add thickness, volume, or length to your hair. They’re also perfect for adding colour without the need for chemical treatments, making them a great option for clients with thinning or fine hair. The extensions are designed to look natural and are ideal for use around partings and hairlines.
Will tape-in extensions damage my natural hair?
When applied and removed by a professional, tape-in extensions should not damage your natural hair. However, improper application or removal can lead to breakage, so it’s crucial to trust a qualified stylist for the best results.

Do you offer evening appointments?

Yes, we do. We are open until 6pm on Wednesdays and Fridays, and until 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Am I required to have a patch test for a colour service?

Yes, all new clients must have a patch test at least 48 hours before their colour appointment. We cannot proceed with any colour services without an in-date patch test applied by one of our team.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is plenty of FREE parking in our car park. Just make sure to give your car registration to a member of staff so you can park for longer than an hour.

What products do you retail?
We retail Davines products to help you maintain your hair between appointments and prolong the results of your salon service. Our team is highly knowledgeable about these products and can provide tailored advice.
How do I book an appointment?

What bond builders do you offer?
We offer K18 and Olaplex as in-salon treatments.
Do I need an appointment?

While appointments are not always necessary, we highly recommend booking to avoid disappointment.

Do you have a curly hair specialist?
Yes, Bethany is our curly hair specialist. We are also planning to further educate all of our stylists in advanced curly hair cutting techniques.
Do you offer gents and children’s cuts?
Yes, we offer both. Please note that children’s cuts start from age 8.
Do I need to arrive with clean hair for my colour appointment?
Yes, please arrive with freshly washed hair. Clean hair helps the colour penetrate the hair shaft more effectively.
What is your pricing?
Pricing varies depending on the service and the stylist’s experience. Feel free to contact us for more details.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a 50% deposit for all new clients and for clients who haven’t visited us in over 6 months.
Do you offer complimentary consultations?

Yes, we require a complimentary 15 minute consultation for all new colour service clients. This allows us to assess your hair, discuss your desired result, and offer any necessary advice.

Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, we require 48 hours’ notice to make any changes to your appointment without incurring a charge or losing your deposit. Changes made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a 50% fee, and under 24 hours or no-shows will incur a 100% fee. If you need to make changes, please call or WhatsApp the salon—please do not email or send messages via social media.
